The SDP Director
Daniel Morales-Gomez. Ph.D.
Dr. Morales-Gomez has thirty years of international development experience working with
international governmental and non-governmental organizations, policy-makers and
development practitioners. He brings to SDP Ltd, a unique blend of skills in
program planning and project design, research and evaluation, and implementation and
management of development initiatives. Over the past several years he has played
key roles in supporting the development and implementation of projects in education, the
assessment of health care services and policies, poverty reduction strategies, social
protection programs and community - based services, specializing in Latin America and
Eastern Africa. He has a sound understanding of the workings of bilateral and
multilateral agencies and foreign aid organizations. He is author and editor of several books on
education, development and globalization and numerous articles, papers and technical
